Cookies currently used

The gw_cookie_consent cookie remembers your category choices for up to 180 days so that the banner is not shown on every visit. The gw_currency cookie remembers the currency selected in the site interface for up to 180 days. The goviaway_location cookie supports location-based personalisation for up to 7 days, but it is set and used only after the Personalisation category is accepted.

If Analytics is accepted and enabled in production, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and a property-specific _ga cookie to distinguish sessions and measure usage. If Partner search is accepted, the external search widget or Aviasales may set its own cookies under the partner’s policy.

Necessary preferences and consent

The gw_currency preference is used to provide the currency display you select. Where applicable rules treat it as strictly necessary for the requested feature, it may be used without optional consent. Personalisation, Google Analytics and the external Partner search category are optional and are not loaded until you choose them in the banner.

You can accept all, allow only necessary functions, or manage categories separately. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer and withdraw optional consent.

How to control cookies

You can delete existing cookies and block future cookies through your browser settings. Blocking preference cookies may mean that the currency or location setting is not remembered, but the main route and travel-information pages should remain available.

Browser controls do not necessarily remove data already held by a third party after you follow an external partner link. Review that partner’s cookie and privacy notices separately.
