Accessibility

We want route, airport and travel-planning information to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using keyboards, screen readers, zoom or mobile assistive technology.

Our approach

GoViaWay aims to follow accessible web practices based on semantic HTML, clear heading structure, readable contrast, visible keyboard focus, labelled controls, responsive layouts and alternative text for meaningful images. We also aim to avoid using colour alone to communicate an important difference.

Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time claim. New pages, data cards, filters and editorial images can introduce issues, so reports from visitors help us find and prioritise them.

Known limits

Some live booking results, partner pages, embedded services, maps or other third-party interfaces are outside GoViaWay’s control and may follow different accessibility standards. Information on those services should be checked with the relevant provider.

Older content or automatically generated route and airport data may still contain issues such as incomplete alternative text, long labels or difficult keyboard order. We will correct issues as they are identified.

Report a barrier

Email hello@goviaway.com with the page URL, a short description of the barrier, the device and browser or assistive technology you used, and what outcome you expected. Please do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for us to understand the issue.

We will use the report to investigate and, where practical, offer an alternative way to access the information. The scope of any formal accessibility obligations depends on the operator, service and applicable European and national rules.
